Why an iPhone?

The iPhone has to be the most talked about thing since it’s original debut. My question is, why does anyone want this device?

I can think of several reasons why I DON”T want this device:

1. It doesn’t use 3G broadband, making the internet almost like dialup speed.
2. What happens when the iPhone gets old? The screen scratches and then you have to replace the screen because you won’t be able to see it.
3. Apple is going to price drop it again. Everyone got really upset when Apple dropped the price

With the way technology goes, why is anyone dropping money on the iPhone? In my personal opinion it’s just to look cool. I really can see no point when I would actually want to use an iPhone. With the way technology progresses they will have something new out by the time you get it anyways.
